Star Wars Day for K thru 3rd graders is tomorrow!


Sensei C awarded his first recorder karate black belt to Oliver! He successfully completed ‘Ode To Joy’ without any mistakes!



The south campus participated in the National Day of Prayer by praying for the nation’s education, church, media, government, businesses, military, and families.








Tomorrow is Star Wars Day for 4th-12th graders. Dress up for $1. Proceeds go to the Theater Department.


North campus students participated in the National Day of Prayer by praying specifically for their country. 2 Samuel 22:29-31.

Elementary students enjoyed some fun games of Badminton in PE!







GCS Robotics participated in the National Robotics Challenge Autonomous Vehicle Competition. Each team's robot had to navigate an 200 foot long obstacle course solely on sensors and programing. Great Experience!



Due to scheduling conflicts, there will not be soccer club this month. The last soccer club meetings will be May 6th for K-3rd and May 20th for 4th-6th.


UPDATED. Join the GCS Theater Department in celebrating Star Wars Day (May the "4th" be with you). Students in grades 4th through 12th can dress in Star Wars attire and costumes on May 3rd for $1. Due to a field trip planned that day, the K-3rd grade students will have their Star Wars day on May 6th. Be creative! No weapons or anything scary, please.



This week one of the Fab Vocab words in music class was Niente, meaning almost inaudible. The 6th grade tried to create a sound with the longest resonance in the gym. Christopher won with 2.64 seconds!
