Some of the 3rd and 4th grade students got to meet Mr. C after his Viral Science show at the Marion Palace Theater on Thursday.
The fifth grade class used play dough and math calculations to visualize how many bacteria would be present after they complete their 20 minute life cycle up to 9 generations. They discovered that it would only take 3 hours to go from 1 bacterium cell to 512 new bacteria cells!

Last week, South Campus students brought in donations for Hurricane Helene victims. South Campus principal, Mrs. McAllister, stated, "I was overwhelmed by the response! We have such generous families here at GCS." Thank you to everyone who participated.
Spanish I, II, and III students did an excellent job memorizing and then presenting the Beatitudes in Spanish at Chapel last week!
Ms.Staton's class came together to donate 8 boxes of supplies for hurricane relief. Members of the community will load the supplies onto trailers and semis and head South to deliver the supplies to Eastern Tennessee and North Carolina.

God is a God of order. (1 Cor 14:33) Albert Einstein Einstein had the intellectual honesty to admit his atheistic worldview could not explain his mathematical proof of creation. He later stated his belief in God was triggered by the order and harmony of the physical universe. Here Chemistry students are exploring electron shell energy levels.

CONGRATULATIONS to our students who auditioned and made it into the cast. We've already started rehearsing and can't wait to bring you this heartwarming Christmas play.
American writer O. Henry was known for his surprise-ending short stories. We will be retelling the stories of "The Last Leaf," "One Thousand Dollars," "Two Thanksgiving Day Gentlemen," and "The Gift of the Magi," as well as alluding to "The Cop and the Anthem."
