May 21st, ECC staff honored Administrator Michele Knight and Administrative Assistant Becky Shipman with a potluck retirement party! Michele has been with GCS for 28 years, and Becky for 19 years. Throughout their years of service, they have cared for our littlest ones and poured into so many lives. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication and the impact they have made.
Next week will be their final week with us, so please take a moment to wish them well and let them know how much they are appreciated. We wish them all the best in retirement and will miss them greatly!

🚒🚑🚓 Miss Lizzy's class had an exciting day learning about our community helpers! The students had the opportunity to see firetrucks, ambulances, and police cars while meeting firefighters, police officers, EMS workers, and dispatchers. They learned all about the important jobs these heroes do every day to keep us safe.
The favorite part of the day was getting to climb inside the firetruck and explore all of the emergency vehicles up close. The kids had so much fun and asked lots of great questions! Thank you to all of our local first responders for taking the time to visit and teach our students! ❤️👩🚒👮♂️🚑
