Welcome to Elementary Physical Education!

Hi! My name is Nikki Strother and I am the K-6 Physical Education teacher at GCS! I love encouraging students to try new, more challenging levels of physical fitness while sharpening their existing skills. I have always loved teaching and working with young people so I knew getting an Elementary Education degree was the right path for me. After experiencing my own five active children’s joy and love for sports, the passion for teaching Phys. Ed. grew in me. I strive to find the strengths in every child! I spend my evenings and weekends attending my kids sporting events and rooting for all the GCS sports teams! Teaching at GCS gives me the opportunity to teach students the importance of taking care of the amazing bodies that God has gifted us!
