My name is Mrs. Millinger. I have loved working with children for most of my life. I began as a camp counselor during high school and college, and continued following that path into a career in education. I received a Bachelor of Music (specializing in Music Education) from Bowling Green State University and I completed coursework at the Ohio State University to earn my teaching certification in Grades 1-8. I taught Music and Art classes both at GCS and Upper Sandusky schools for a total of 20 years. I have been teaching in my current position since the 2020/21 school year.
I am a member of my church worship team and I enjoy reading and hiking when I have spare time. My husband and I have 4 children: two are serving in the US Air Force, one is a US Marine, and our youngest is a sophomore at GCS (she has no definite military aspirations at this time - people always ask).
The best thing about GCS is that the people here become your family. Further, they are a family devoted to Christ and His kingdom. I have never doubted that I am loved by those I have worked with over my many years as a part of this school, and I feel privileged to be a part of this ministry.
